The Semel Institute is a seeking a full time Staff Research Associate 2. The SRA II will be a part of a project team that focuses on the planning and coordination of technical assistance surrounding data for the UCLA State Opioid Response Evaluation. in this role you will assist in planning and coordinating data-focused technical assistance activities for project stakeholders, with a focus on social determinants of health and equity. This will include assisting with:
- Developing tools and resources for technical assistance activities
- Creating presentations and other training materials
- Planning and coordinating meetings with stakeholders, trainings and technical assistance events
- Creating data collection instruments and protocols; and qualitative and quantitative data cleaning and interpretation.
Pay Range: $28.88 - $46.46 hourly

Required:
- Experience with California’s prevention, harm reduction, recovery and/or substance use treatment system.
- At least one year of experience scheduling and coordinating meetings and events with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally, and in writing, with project participants, staff, and supervisors.
- Working knowledge of data collection and interpretation of research findings.
- Working knowledge of social determinants of health and health equity.
- Detail-oriented with ability to review and assess data for completeness, accuracy, and internal consistency.
- Ability to complete tasks in accordance with project protocols and deadlines.
- Ability to conduct focused and detail-oriented tasks on screen for extensive periods of time.
- Demonstrated cultural competence with skill in speaking and writing to persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
