About the RoleThe Event Delivery Team Manager is a critical role in the event delivery process. This position will be responsible for the supervision of 8-10 direct reports as well as managing a small load of client projects.
This role will oversee the health of ongoing events and ensure that the team is staying caught up on deadlines, requirements, and deliverables. This individual will also be responsible for the well-being of the Event Delivery Team. While working in a very stressful environment, it is extremely important that the leader of this team remains calm and gives the team confidence that they have support. 
Additionally, this role will report directly to the director of this department. In this capacity, this individual will be asked to compile and organize various data. A strong candidate will be very proficient in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) and will be familiar with gathering and presenting data to an executive team.

Essential responsibilities:

• 50% of workload will be consulting clients for best practices in event delivery using the Rainfocus platform.
• Coaching and training team members
• Monitoring project health from the team
• Improving existing processesSolve event escalations and emergencies
• Communicate with cross-functional teams, including product design, finance, HR, and technology
• Interviewing, hiring and terminations, as applicable 

Required experience/skills/attributes:

• 3-5 years of experience in the Event Industry
• 1-2 years of experience in managing a team (preferred)
• Exceptional skill and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong project management background, being able to manage many projects simultaneously

Success measures:

• All events have appropriate staffing plans built and teams are equipped with critical information and prepared to support clients during execution of the event
• Create and Maintain strong relationships with Event Delivery Consultants to collaboratively execute to the support plans
• Receives feedback well and adjusts accordingly
• Define and support processes to ensure scalable growth and successful events

Location/TravelThis role needs to be located near our corporate headquarters in Lehi, UT.  Total travel could be up to 20%. The nature of the travel is being onsite at client events, which may include weekends.
