Business Area Technology Integration Lead

Leidos’ Cyber & Analytics Business Area  is seeking a dynamic senior technical lead to join an engineering organization supporting a classified customer located in Columbia, MD. This key position reports directly to the SVP/Business Area Manager and will contribute to a culture of engineering excellence to drive strategic growth.

Required Education, Skills & Experience

We’re seeking an accomplished and visionary leader with a proven track record in driving complex mission operations and engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic acumen, technical depth, and collaborative spirit to shape the future of intelligence support.

• Educational Foundation

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of progressively complex operational leadership experience, or

  • Master’s degree with 13+ years in a mission-focused environment preferred.

• Intelligence Community Expertise

  • Minimum of 10 years supporting Intelligence Community operations, with a strong grasp of mission support activities and a deep understanding of customer business processes and forward-looking needs.

• Organizational Leadership

  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring large, multifaceted engineering teams.

  • Proven ability to lead high-impact efforts involving staff development, product delivery, and customer relationship management.

• Strategic Growth & Execution

  • Successful history of designing and executing growth strategies.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams to drive innovation and market expansion.

• Business & Analytical Prowess

  • Strong organizational management skills are supported by exceptional analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Adept at building internal consensus and fostering alignment among customers, technical staff, and business leaders.

  • Frequent travel required between Columbia, MD and Reston, VA.

Security Clearance Requirement

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

• The selected candidate must be able and willing to maintain this clearance throughout the tenure of the role.

Desired Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, Technology, Management, Business, or a closely related discipline.

• Prior leadership experience in science and technology roles within National Security and Intelligence organizations.
