NBC Sports Next includes two groups. This role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports group.  

Youth & Recreational Sports is comprised of technology platforms, such as SportsEngine, SportsEngine Motion, TourneyMachine, and TeamUnify that enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families. Additionally, NCSI enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.

Job Description

What you will do as a Project Manager:
● Conduct regular status meetings with high-level enterprise clients and internal SportsEngine stakeholders to manage multiple concurrent projects that may not follow established processes
● Build and maintain project plans with timelines split into milestones
● Effectively track activities and timelines of each project and proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks
● Collaborate within a team to meet client contractual obligations
● Represent the values and mission of NBC Sports Next and the Professional Services team
● Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications for the Project Manager:
● Prior Project Manager experience with application deployment projects for enterprise-level customers
● Working knowledge of project management methodologies including waterfall, agile, and hybrid
● Ability to deliver projects that may not follow established processes

● Deeply customer-focused while also being able to recognize business perspective and team impacts
● Strong sense of ownership and follow-through
● Time management skills and ability to weigh the importance and urgency of
