Key Components:

  • In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with functions specific to academic support such as career coaching, tutoring, supplemental instruction.

Job Description:

Students need to have done well in World Cultures to be a Peer Instructor for other students taking the course.
-Assist students in a designated academic subject or discipline as needed
-Foster educational growth and development; identify educational needs and provide assistance as necessary 
-Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information 
-Provide information and excellent customer service to constituents
-Maintain a safe and supportive environment 
-Ability to comply with University policies 
-Maintain regular and punctual attendance
