Overview

UIC Real Estate seeks individuals to join the corporation’s summer youth Clean-Up Crew in Barrow, Alaska.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include:

• Collect garbage and debris from all areas of the property and dispose of it.
• Ability to cooperate effectively with others.
• Must be physically able to perform all duties and tasks.
• Handles tasks assigned by supervisors as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 14 years old to apply (must have a work permit on file with the Alaska Department of Labor).
• Be a team player.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
• For extended period may be required to stand or walk; push or pull heavy equipment.
• Considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling and crouching as required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
