Position OverviewThis role will support the Vice President of Corporate FP&A with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, monthly close work, and variance analysis. This person will operate as a business partner to multiple functional teams at Nielsen.
A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $50,000- $105,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.

Responsibilities
- Help drive the annual budget process through a bottoms up budget build approach working with a variety of functional teams.
- Lead monthly forecast updates to ensure the latest financial estimates are reflected within Nielsen's consolidated view
- Assist in the monthly close process which includes partnering with controllership and working through accruals, reconciliations and intercompany submissions
- Post close you will take large datasets and turn them into insightly analysis and variance explanations
- Work as a business partner and build a relationship with several functional teams
- Ad hoc projects as needed to assist the VP of Corp FP&A
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with budgeting & forecasting
- Comfortability working with large datasets and turning them into meaningful and concise summaries
- Advanced experience working with spreadsheets/Excel
- Willingness to roll your sleeves up and work through whatever is required with an attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
- Have the ability to learn and navigate our financial systems and tools
- Positive attitude that can work with a diverse set of people to help solution whatever the current challenge is
