The Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Industrial Mechanic to repair and maintain complex machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment. As an part of our team you will handle moderately complex issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve, repair, and maintain machinery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctions and determine complex repair requirements while evaluating if repairs can be completed internally or if a supplier must be contacted to complete the necessary repairs.
- Identify and recommend appropriate parts for required repairs and/or preventative maintenance.
- Assemble, install, and inspect new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment. May assist with determining repair specifications for special purpose equipment.
- Repair and maintain electro-mechanical numerically controlled production equipment, special purpose, production machinery and related equipment.
- Must be able to troubleshoot a variety of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing and production environment.
- Required to use hand and power tools to repair, adapt or reassemble machinery and equipment parts. May on occasion build new parts.
- Follow standard work to complete tasks as well as understand and work from various documents such as blueprints, wiring diagrams, machine specifications, etc.
- Support the Company’s 5S program to maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner.
- Recommend changes to outdated or ineffective procedures/ processes through the kaizen process.
- Support Toyota Production System (TPS) driven processes and activities.
- Performs related work as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 + years of related experience in machinery repair in a factory/warehouse environment.
- Understanding and working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or basic electronic principles and machine operations
- A high school diploma or GED

- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of belt drive mechanisms, gear trains, welding, cutting, brazing, metal, and alloys as applied in repair and rebuild work
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers
Where and When You’ll Work:
- This is an in-person role located at our Greene, NY location —ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
- This position second shift 2pm - 12:30am and is four (10) hour days . Thursday through Sunday.
What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Wage - $20.44 - $30.38 per hour plus a 10% shift premium. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
