How You'll Work:
- Location: Fort Wayne, IN
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, (2 Saturdays and 1 Holiday per year)

CRST’s Specialized Solutions division is the carrier of choice for customers requiring on-site, high-touch, and specialized handling. We manage deliveries for a wide range of products for the tech, communications, electronics, and healthcare industries (and many more). Our experienced drivers safely load, unload, and set up products for consumers and companies.
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of a fleet of Owner Operators. Their main task is to ensure the fleet is well-maintained, meets legal requirements, and is operated efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize costs. They are responsible for managing and developing relationships with drivers to increase overall driver satisfaction and improve driver retention. They also work closely with drivers to coordinate deliveries and ensure they arrive at their destination on time. Communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a fleet of 20-25 Owner Operators to achieve revenue goals and maximize profits
- Track and trace all drivers daily to confirm transit is managed
- Resolve challenging issues/recoveries and communicate to planners/bookers/customers/drivers
- Ensure that all customer requirements are fulfilled (required service, van equipment needs, trailer needs, and CRST BOL)
- Coordinate with planners on new load plans and challenging issues
- Manage van equipment with drivers and CRST equipment personnel
- Update macros in a timely manner (trailer/equipment changes)
- Safety Requirement: Provide all PM/DOT, OBD-CTC documentation received in a timely manner and all safety investigations
- Collecting and submitting all necessary paperwork with required signatures to meet customer requirements
- Review driver vouchers before sending them to processing
- Understanding of billable charges for customers so that charges are added and billed to pay the driver
Requirements:
- A four-year degree (preferred) or applicable work experience with demonstrated success
