Assistant Project Manager - Offshore Wind

The increased ambition by Norwegian Government to develop in total 30 GW offshore wind in Norway by 2040 represents a large opportunity for Statkraft. We will also pursue an industrial role in Ireland and explore opportunities in other markets.</p><p>But there’s more work to be done – that’s why we need you to join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Assist in the project management of our offshore wind farm project pipeline at all stages of project development from site identification through to pre-construction activity</li><li>Assisting with managing early-stage feasibility studies for offshore projects which includes managing external consultants</li><li>Assist in the review and production of technical, planning and associated documents</li><li>Assist in managing the use of internal company resources, including Procurement and Legal to support projects</li><li>Support the management of the offshore project budget and programme as per Statkraft Project Governance and Capital Project Model (CPM)</li><li>Assist in the management to successfully deliver project consent, route to market, land rights, grid etc and maturing projects towards FID</li><li>Support on key areas of your technical competence</li><li>Develop industry knowledge and guidance and share your knowledge with your team</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Higher relevant education within in a relevant subject (e.g. engineering, planning or environmental science) preferably at Master´s level.</li><li>Experience in the renewable energy (or relevant) industry</li><li>Experience in coordinating input to delivery of Offshore Projects from early-stage development through consenting and preparation for construction would be ideal</li><li>A technical specialism would be advantageous</li><li>Knowledge of the offshore renewable energy market</li><li>Independent self-starter.
