As an HR Generalist, you will be assist the oversight of the recruitment, training and engagement of the people who create unforgettable guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR.

Detailed Responsibilities:
* Assists with recruitment/staffing plans for the location in partnership with managers

* Serves as the ‘voice of the people’ in leadership discussions

* Ensures all Levy and legal standards, such as I9 documents, are completed in a timely manner

* Conducts regular audits to verify compliance with policies and procedures

* Assists with workforce planning to build capability and optimize performance

* Administers onboarding and orientation training for new team members

* Leads efforts around employee engagement and retention at the location

* Assists with timely and accurate completion of all team member timesheets in the ‘MyStaff’ system

* Ensures efficient and welcoming employee check-in experience

* Assists with employee investigations and progressive discipline procedures

* Ensures all team member information is accurate and up to date within the location HRIS system

* Ensures the timely processing of all unemployment claims 

* Ensures timely completion of all mandatory/compliance-related training, e.g. Preventing Workplace Harassment*

* Assists with change and improvement programs

* Attends management meetings to support the overall governance of the location

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
