I make sure our systems are reliable and secure so we can all sleep well at night.” </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you will really be doing</strong></p><p>🚀Create, manage and integrate software to <strong>automate and secure</strong> cloud environments. </p><p>🛠️ Work closely with application developers and architects to ensure that the Aize product is a <strong>high-performing, highly available, and secure</strong> application that our customers trust. </p><p>📓 Be responsible for the full <strong>deployment</strong>, infrastructure <strong>automation</strong>, system <strong>monitoring</strong>, <strong>designing</strong>, and <strong>developing</strong> tools/applications for code building, deployment, and release management. </p><p>🔐 Assist in the development of <strong>security-related standards</strong> for platforms and technologies </p><p>📚 Grow your <strong>expertise </strong>within DevOps and<strong> learn</strong> from senior colleagues</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>How will you be doing this</strong> </p><p>You will work <strong>in cross-functional teams</strong> with awesome and kind colleagues. A huge part of the role is <strong>automating everything</strong> to remove manual processes, as DevOps never like to do the same task twice. Last but not least, <strong>you don’t do things just because they were always done that way</strong>, you never ignore the lessons learned (even those learned by others) and wear your battle scars with pride. <a href="https://peridot-flyaway-ee9.notion.site/Career-Workplace-Culture-de03a59b36464cbe8b8288d335a9b78b" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank"><strong>Click here to learn more about our culture!</strong></a> </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Where you will be doing this </strong></p><p>You will be based in Oslo, Norway as we continue to build our teams but since we follow a hybrid working model, feel free to combine work + vacation into a <em>workation!</em> Nestle in one of our cabins by ski centers like Gaustablikk, Hafjell ++, relax on a balcony with an ocean view or even visit family and friends around the world (and make sure to take some days off to spend quality time with the fam!) while carrying out your work. While we encourage flexibility in your preferred work style, it is important to harmonize &amp; integrate that with the needs of your team and colleagues while maintaining your base in Oslo. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What we have worked on last quarter</strong> </p><p>The team have worked on <strong>implementing a new way of working</strong> across the company, installing themselves at the heart of everything Aize does. Through the introduction of new ideas and technologies, the team is beginning to implement a <strong>common way of working</strong>, while still maintaining <strong>high standards</strong>. We are still in the middle of this challenging journey, however, there is never a dull day. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Team</strong> </p>The DevOps team is split between the <strong>UK </strong>(6 team members) and <strong>Norway</strong> (3 team members). This position has lots of room to grow, you will cooperate with colleagues of all levels, and we need you to be ready to not only absorb knowledge but also share with others. You will of course get tremendous support from the existing team in Norway, as well as your DevOps peers in the UK.
