Job Description:
Accountable for helping to design and deliver credit solutions and for underwriting, structuring and negotiating these solutions for regional geographies or specialty businesses. Partners closely with client-facing teammates in many lines of business in the bank, including the Global Investment Bank, Global Commercial Bank and Business Banking, to consult on sales opportunities, and provide the product expertise and consultation necessary to deliver the best possible solution to the client. Manages highly complex portfolios with multiple businesses.
This job is responsible for managing a team tasked with designing and delivering credit solutions, including underwriting, structuring, and negotiating for Business Banking customers covered under our regional credit delivery model. Key responsibilities include (i) partnering with client-facing teams in Business Banking to consult on opportunities and provide product expertise, and (ii) managing a team of regionally-based underwriters who are primarily responsible for credit analysis, credit approval, and credit portfolio management. This role reports directly to the head of Business Baking Credit.
