Join Our Team!Are you passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and eager to launch your career in People Operations? Everi is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented People Operations Generalist I to join our team at the Wild Basin office in Austin, TX.
**Candidates must reside in or near Austin, TX to be considered.**
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide daily support in employee relations, benefits administration, and general HR inquiries.
- Manage and organize the department's SharePoint site and ensure compliance with Federal and State Labor Law postings.
- Oversee workers' compensation and unemployment claims, including reporting, documentation, and communication with relevant parties.
- Participate in disciplinary meetings, recommend corrective actions, and suggest process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Engage in employee morale and company culture initiatives, including VIBE committee activities, volunteer opportunities, and internal recognition tools.
- Maintain strict confidentiality standards to protect employee and company information.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.Experience: 1-2 years in an HR or administrative role.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of employment law, performance management principles, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with HRIS and/or UKG/UltiPro.
- Experience in event coordination.
