***MANAGER, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT - SUNRISE***

Remote U.S. or Canada-Based Role

 

This role requires that you be a quick study! You’ll be asked to confidently step in to do something you’ve not done before. This job will involve lots of change and requires flexibility, so the ideal candidate will be able to adapt quickly and learn new things easily. You’ll be asked to identify clear processes and create structure. Your primary duty is to lead a team of 6-8 business analysts; your secondary role is to fill in the product management gaps when needed.  You should have a good understanding of our Sunrise solution, and previous QA or development experience is a plus!

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Experience and Value

• Responsible for the development of features to support the Sunrise product strategy (current to next release) that is in-line with the mid-to-long term vision.
• Work in collaboration with teams to develop features, functions and requirements that drive a great product experience and high value for our clients

Client Engagement

Engage with clients as needed to solicit feedback related to features being developed

Product Evangelism

• Focus on the development and identification of product requirements based on internal and external client feedback as well as through direct observation and assessment of industry trends.
• Ensure the quality, design, experience and value of current products in the market.
• Apply strong domain expertise in a creative and innovative manner to ensure that we build world class products aligned with client, market and government regulations on an international scale.
• Collaborate closely with the product manager to assure the product is on-track, on-budget and moving in-line with expected quality and design targets.
• Identify feature prioritization and manage feature trade-offs; provide key messaging on the solution.
• Identify and evaluate the impact of quality and ensure a high quality and satisfying experience for our clients.

Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 6-8 business analysts. Set goals, provide guidance and feedback, and create a positive and productive work environment.
• Clearly articulate the vision to the team. Build relationships and work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• Manage team workload and ensure deadlines are met. Fill in business analyst gaps as needed.
• Represent the team to other departments and stakeholders.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Marketing, Finance, or business-related field, or equivalent years of experience
• MBA preferred.

Work Experience

• 8+ years product management / business analyst work experience; 2-3 years at the expert/principal business analyst level
• Expert level experience in providing business process support for a healthcare IT solution.
• 2+ years formal or informal team leadership; experienced in bringing people together to create and execute a plan.
• Experienced at providing clear communications and directives to a team; skilled in conflict resolution.
• Skilled in tracking and managing numerous complex details simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of our Sunrise solution preferred, or knowledgeable of other EHR solutions.
• 2-3 years’ experience with SAFe or Agile processes
• 1 – 3 years demonstrated success in revenue generation, product management, and/or partnership development
• Experienced in analyzing market gaps; able to recommend stages of product development.
• Able to lead design forums and requirements gathering workshops.
• Experienced at interacting with customers, partners, market consultants to address market-product competition mix; able to translate customer problems into features and design requirements.
• Capable of innovating product-based solutions based on changing market and customer requirements.
