Position Specific Description
Florida Power & Light is seeking an experienced individual for its Central Maintenance Planning team to support overhaul planning of the Combined Cycle Power Generation Fleet. The ideal candidate shall be well organized and process oriented, have a bias for action, and excel at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Routine interface with site personnel, fleet engineering, and the central maintenance organization is a must. This position requires the capacity to manage a large workload, flexibility when priorities shift, and drive to meet (or beat) established Major Maintenance Process commitments. This role will be responsible for development of job specific Mechanical Maintenance Work Order packages for Overhaul Projects by (but not limited to): The following credentials are highly desired for the position: This position will be based out of our Ft. Myers Plant in Ft Myers, FL (Flexible within any FPL Fossil plant or PGA) with 30% travel within Florida. Join NextEra Energy’s Power Generation Team
Job Overview
Employees in this job are responsible for project planning of major and minor equipment maintenance activities related to electrical power generation plants. Activities may include job identification, scope validation, cost and schedule estimating, and development of job specific work instructions.
