Summary:
Lincoln Electric is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for our Euclid, OH headquarters. The Engineering Project Manager will spearhead complex technical projects in the field of 3D printed parts and additive manufacturing systems within our Additive Solutions business unit. The role involves meticulous planning, efficient organization, and seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in setting and achieving project milestones, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the continuous improvement of project management best practices for the Additive Solutions business unit.

What You Will Do:
- Strategic Project Leadership: Understand project scope and deliverables, utilizing advanced project management tools to create and execute comprehensive project plans. Lead project teams with a focus on efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines.
- Resource Management: Develop and manage project schedules and resource plans to optimize project execution. Administer project budgets, enforce fiscal controls, and conduct value engineering to enhance project efficiency.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Proactively identify and manage project scope creep, initiating customer change orders as needed.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end sales activities, working closely with engineering, production and sales teams to establish accurate project scopes, timelines, and costs. Assist in the pre-sales process to secure orders aligned with project execution plans.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet customer specifications and comply with contract documents. Oversee quality control provisions and assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supplier and Contract Management: Request and authorize purchase orders, manage supplier subcontracted activities, and approve supplier invoices. Review project contract documents, including purchase orders, terms & conditions, and federal acquisition requirements (FAR); assess compliance.
- Representation and Travel: Represent the company in business dealings with customers, consultants, contractors, and other organizations. Travel as necessary (not frequent) to manage customer and supplier relationships.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of project management best practices and processes within the Additive Solutions business unit. Promote continuous improvement, training, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent technical field.
- 8-10+ years combined engineering and project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in project management.
- Proficient in budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to create Gantt charts and work breakdown structures.
- Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing operating practices, contract documents, and specifications.
- Proficient in workflow analysis and management, with excellent computer skills in a Windows-based environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop and deliver presentations.
