Senior Project Manager

The Role
As a Senior Project Manager you will lead all aspects of IT projects including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control. Presidio PMs work directly with the project team, clients and partners to lead and ensure successful project delivery within scope, on time, and within budget, and are expected to be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and project teams.

Travel Requirements:

In this role you will be expected to travel up to 20%. This role is 100% remote.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple simple to moderate complexity projects
• Creation of detailed project plans, status reporting and managing issues/risks/actions
• Manages schedule, scope and mitigates risk across projects
• Manages Project budget and billing
• Partners across cross functional teams to deliver the best possible solution for a client
• Meet with customers during key phases of the project
• Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Required Skills: 

• Project Management experience in Cisco's product line (Routing, Switching, Unified Communication, Data Center Virtualization using VMware and EMC product lines. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and successfully drive projects to meet defined budgets and timelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills; leadership, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate with top executives and within all levels of management within Presidio and customer organizations
• Ability to plan, organize, and successfully drive projects to meet defined budgets and timelines
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience managing project financials and scheduling internal resources (a must)
• Proficient in MS Project. Other PPM Tool experience a plus 
• PMP or equivalent Certification a plus
• ITIL knowledge a plus
• Technical proficiency; capability to learn high level skills in areas of networking, security, telephony, or computer systems

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• Over all 5+ years of experience as a hands-on Project Manager managing technical projects and having customer facing experiences.
• PMP Certification Preferred (active)
