Overview
Oversees the enterprise-wide direction of the Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC) quality, safety and accreditation programs. Demonstrates effective communication with internal and external customers to facilitate DCC performance improvement goals. Develops and manages the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the comprehensive quality assessment and improvement programs in the inpatient and outpatient settings for DCC. This position is responsible for the function of the Cancer Registry, Commission on Cancer (COC) Accreditation, ACR and other regulatory requirements including but not limited to The Joint Commission (TJC). Maintains responsive and effective relationships with system-wide staff and leadership in Quality, the Value Institute and Program leadership. Communicates effectively with staff, supporting departments, and external agencies.

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program preferred. Master’s degree or equivalent in business, public health, nursing or a related field with 3 years of progressive hospital/nursing experience required.
- Evidence of competence/experience in quality improvement and patient safety tools and methodologies including statistical analysis, epidemiology, and clinical decision support systems.
- Maintains proficiency in navigating electronic medical records, databases, and data-collection methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across large complex organizations.
- Evidence of experience in successful administration and leadership of organizational quality management.
