About the Team

Exciting internship opportunity to work at ZF Commercial Vehicle Division facility in Charleston within Quality Assurance department. Team includes a mix of Process/Customer Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers, as well as Quality Technicians supporting our Metrology lab.

 

What you can look forward to as an intern:

• Support with Keeping Track of Gage Calibrations
• Work on Tasks related to IATF16949 audit readiness
• Work on creating process and defining 5s standards in MRB area for lean material flow
• Work on Monitoring Production failures, scrap and problem solving activities to resolve First Pass yield issues

 

Your Profile:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, any Technical field, Preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Ability to work with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge working with SAP systems preferable but not required
• Experience with problem-solving tools like Fish Bone Diagram, Why-Why Analysis, 6 Sixgma preferred
