Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society. </span></strong></p> <p><span>We are looking for a/an Senior Accountant  to join our GF_Finance &amp; Controlling, Accounting and <span>become part of a successful company active in green and renewables technologies.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Your main tasks and responsibilities:  </span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations.</li> <li>Accurate management of fixed assets and operational accounting (project, profit center, internal order, and cost center accounting).</li> <li>Recording incoming orders and project revenue using SAP.</li> <li>Maintaining various master data and daily monitoring of value flows in SAP.</li> <li>Hedge, equity, and lease accounting according to IFRS.</li> <li>Reconciling and managing various clearing accounts; balance sheet account reconciliation.</li> <li>Process responsibility and controls in the RTR area (ICS).</li> <li>Acting as a contact person for internal and external partners, including auditors, banks, and service partners.</li> <li>Supporting financial projects and initiatives (e.g. system implementations, process optimizations, automations).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>To succeed in this role, you will need: </span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Solid basic education with further training in finance and accounting.</li> <li>Several years of professional experience in accounting according to IFRS; knowledge of local Swiss GAAP is an advantage.</li> <li>Experience in an industrial or manufacturing Swiss registered company and in project accounting is desired.</li> <li>Excellent SAP FI/CO knowledge, further modules are a plus (MM, SD, PS, VIM).</li> <li>Solid MS Office skills, strong Excel skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in English; good German skills are a plus.</li> <li>Confidence in closing accounts and a strong affinity for automated processes, logical thinking, and pragmatic solutions.</li> <li>Independent, responsible, and goal-oriented work style.</li> <li>Reliable and precise working methods as well as a customer-oriented attitude.</li> <li>Committed and cheerful personality who can maintain an overview and set priorities even in hectic situations.</li> <li>Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>A willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.</li> <li>Empathetic and cheerful personality with a flair for numbers, who can also handle hectic situations.</li> <li>Reliable and precise way of working as well as a customer-oriented attitude.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>What we offer you: </span></strong></p> <p><strong>What we offer you: </strong></p> <ul> <li>A permanent contract.</li> <li>A competitive salary as well as participation in the variable remuneration system based on personal and financial objectives.</li> <li>Restaurant ticketsçBe part of an experienced, international team.</li> <li>A good vibe working environment.</li> <li>Enjoy great office facilities and a perfect location in Madrid Nuevos Ministerios, making your work experience both comfortable and convenient.</li> <li>Other fringe benefits<br/> </li> </ul> <p>No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role. </p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
