ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, attending meetings; presenting to small groups; relationship building; utilizing a computer for workflow management, typing, and conducting research; and utilizing a telephone.
Salary: $42,500-$53,100
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Operational Support (55%)
- Provide general administrative and operational support for units across the division
- Provide direct support to the functions of the Advancement Operations Manager to ensure departmental and division-wide marketing projects receive necessary support
- Track marketing and communications requests from units across the division
- Coordinate internal and external meeting invitations, meeting agendas/materials, related notifications/reminders, and communications to internal and external stakeholders for both in-person and virtual events and meetings
- Draft, edit, and/or proofread letters, memos, emails, meeting notes, blog posts, public testimonies, donor communications, and other written correspondences, as assigned
- Process and coordinate mailers, program materials, and other supplies between offices and external audiences
- Prepare and complete check requests, purchase orders, and invoices, as needed
- Provide support and assistance with community-based programs and events for the division, as needed
Department-Specific Support (40%)
- Assist with off-site engagement activities, events, and programs – such as recording short videos, capturing photos for social media, etc. – in support of the Marketing and Communications team
- Assist with congressional and statehouse related communications – including action calls, mailers, and more – in support of the External Affairs team
- Submit document review requests to various internal teams, including Marketing and Communications, Legal, and others, on behalf of the External Affairs team
- Assist with donor engagement-related activities, including assisting with database management, in-person and virtual events, programs, and communications, in support of the Development team
- Coordinate and manage development-related software activities (i.e. registration, troubleshooting, etc.) for events, such as AIDS Walk Ohio and others
Miscellaneous (<5%)
- Demonstrate positive attitude to clients and conduct all aspects of job responsibilities with a focus on exceptional customer service

- Other duties as assigned
