Status: Full-time, exempt
Salary Range: $60,000–$65,000 with Benefits
Location: Raleigh, NC (hybrid: two days in office/three remote); must be local or intend on moving to the area to be considered. Occasional travel required.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting NCAAT’s People & Culture department and ensuring smooth HR operations. This entry-level position provides administrative and operational support across multiple HR functions, including onboarding/off-boarding, payroll and timekeeping, benefits administration, compliance, and performance evaluations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with an interest in learning and growing in the HR field. While prior HR system experience (ADP Run, Employee Navigator,  JazzHR, Asana, Slack, Google Suite) is helpful, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Support

  • Support new hire onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring consistency and compliance.
     
  • Assist with timekeeping, payroll, and benefits administration in collaboration with the Deputy Director of People & Culture.
     
  • Help coordinate staff trainings, performance evaluations, and employee engagement activities.
     
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR files, ensuring confidentiality.
     

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Assist with note-taking in meetings, event logistics, and supply purchasing as needed.
     
  • Provide administrative support for staff retreats, trainings, and HR-related events.
     
  • Support the implementation of HR and operations-related policies and processes.
     

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with staff across departments to answer HR-related questions and provide support.
     
  • Serve as a helpful, resourceful point of contact for staff on HR procedures and tools.
     
  • Uphold NCAAT’s values of equity, inclusion, and accountability in all HR interactions.
