Position Overview: CAI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional in Mission Critical industries as the Director of Operations (DOO) for CAI Mission Critical in the America’s region. The DOO plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and efficiency across the continental region. You will oversee multiple geographic locations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of our services. The successful candidate will possess a strong track record of operational leadership, strategic thinking, and have an ability to drive organizational growth.
The DOO is responsible for the day-to-day operations, personnel and resource management, and general execution of operations to achieve the strategic vision of the Mission Critical Division at CAI. The DOO accomplishes these functions through:
1. Operational Strategy and Planning:•Develop and execute a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the CAI's goals and objectives.•Identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.•Collaborate with senior leadership to establish performance metrics and goals for the continental operations.2. Financial Management•Monitor and manage the financial performance of the continental operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.•Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.•Drive initiatives to optimize resource allocation and utilization, ensuring efficient delivery of services.3. Process Optimization and Standardization•Streamline and standardize operational processes to enhance productivity and quality across all locations.•Implement best practices and enforce CAI Policies and Procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.•Continuously assess and improve operational workflows to drive operational excellence and meet client expectations.4. Team Leadership and Development•Lead and inspire a diverse team of operational professionals across multiple geographic locations.•Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.•Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance team performance.5. Relationship Management•Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and people solutions, to ensure alignment and seamless coordination.•Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.•Proactively address client concerns, resolve operational issues, and ensure client satisfaction.6. Risk Management and Compliance•Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate operational, regulatory, and compliance risks.•Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.•Implement and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.
