As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will be based in East Aurora, NY and support our Actuation Systems Business Unit across multiple locations within the Space and Defense Group’s global footprint. You will proactively identify, define, and implement HR strategies that enable the business to increase performance and achieve strategic goals. You will partner closely with the Strategic HRBP and business leaders, contributing to decision-making beyond HR and helping shape the future of the organization.
In this on-site role, you will report directly to a Strategic HRBP for the Space Division based in East Aurora, NY, and serve as a key member of the business management team.
You will be responsible for the following…
Develop strong relationships with leadership to provide value-added HR support aligned with business objectives.
Partner with the Strategic HRBP to manage the people agenda and deliver new and existing HR initiatives.
Contribute to business strategy development and execution, bringing an HR lens to organizational decisions.
Design and implement HR strategies that drive engagement, retention, and performance.
Lead organizational development, design, and change management efforts.
Own and drive talent management processes including succession planning, performance management, and talent pipeline development.
Act as a coach and role model, promoting a culture aligned with Moog’s values and philosophy.
Manage HR metrics, analytics, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
Lead or participate in Group-wide or global HR projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to continuously improve policies, processes, and programs.
Represent the voice of the business within the broader HR function.
Recognize and assess complex organizational issues and recommend strategic solutions.
To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll typically need:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum ten (10) years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of three (3) years as an HR Business Partner.
Demonstrated experience supporting multiple sites or business units.
Proven ability to advise and influence leadership on both business and people-related matters.
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a matrixed environment and navigating complex organizational structures.
Deep understanding of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
Ability to travel approximately 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline.
People management experience, including leading HR teams or direct reports.
Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
