About this role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Marketing Director to join our Co-Owned Business specializing in trading education.
This role will not report to Strikepoint.
The Marketing Director will lead the marketing efforts and drive business growth. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, overseeing campaign planning, managing budgets, conducting market research, and leading a team of marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement marketing and brand strategies to drive growth, enhance brand recognition, and align with business objectives. Identify new opportunities based on market trends.
Data-Driven Marketing Management: Monitor and optimize key performance metrics such as on-platform engagement, conversion rates, return on ad spend (ROAS), email performance, and lead/client retention to improve campaign effectiveness.
Channel Strategy & Optimization: Oversee multi-channel campaigns, optimize high-performing channels, and expand webinar, low- and high-ticket funnel strategies to increase revenue.
Communication & Leadership: Lead and communicate marketing strategies and performance to the team and organization. Collaborate with sales, leadership, and external partners to align goals and KPIs. Manage a multidisciplinary team for seamless project execution.
Technology & Tools Expertise: Utilize tools like Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, Google Analytics, HubSpot, ClickFunnels, and more to launch, manage and scale campaigns and analyze performance.
Budgeting & Financial Objectives: Prepare and manage the marketing budget, forecast spending, and ensure alignment with company financial goals.
Performance Reviews & Reporting: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews. Track ad spend, conversion rates, webinar attendance, and email engagement to ensure KPIs are met.
Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or related field
5-10 years of experience in marketing, project management, and team leadership.
Proven experience with content creation, CRM, social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and automation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing metrics and trends.
Experience managing budgets, forecasting spend, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
Proficient in marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, ClickFunnels, and more).
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and external partners.
Agency experience is a plus
Location
We have offices in Fairfield, Connecticut, and Chicago. While candidates within a nearby radius are highly desired, we are open to remote applicants with the right experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
80,000-100,000 DOE
