Our Arlington office is looking to add a Project Manager to oversee and manage buildings and infrastructure projects. You will be part of a team that is responsible for preparation of conceptual, preliminary, and final design plans, specifications, estimates and construction administration.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager with a focus on project delivery, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within defined budgets, timelines, and quality standards. You will lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, architects, inspectors and stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met and client expectations are exceeded.
Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budget allocation, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Identify project resource requirements and allocate them effectively, considering skills, availability, and budget constraints.

Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to minimize their impact.

Lead project execution activities, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow, adherence to project plans, and timely delivery of project milestones.

Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and conform to industry standards.

Monitor project finances, track expenses, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.

Foster effective communication channels among team members and stakeholders. Prepare and deliver progress reports, project updates, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Build client relationships through performance, service, effective communication, and by identifying and meeting client needs

Evaluate and manage project changes, including scope variations, timeline adjustments, and resource reallocations. Assess the impact of changes on project objectives and communicate effectively with all parties involved.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Ensure team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and project goals.

Conduct project evaluations upon completion, capturing lessons learned, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices for future projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. A master's degree in project management or business administration is preferred.
