Assistant Home Service Technician TruBlue of Frisco, Prosper, & Celina is hiring for a part-time Assistant Home Service Technician (Handyman/Handywoman/Contractor) to serve the areas of Frisco, Prosper, and Celina. Joining TruBlue means you will be an integral part of a growing team with a unique mission to become a trusted ally in the home service industry.  TruBlue seeks to serve and enrich the growing population of seniors, busy adults, and expanding families by giving them peace of mind when it comes to choosing the right home services provider.    Role OverviewWe’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Assistant Home Service Technician to join our team and help our customers live better at home.  You’ll work alongside other Lead Technicians performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and improvement projects—learning new skills along the way and pitching-in wherever needed. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks including:
  • Minor carpentry (doors, trim, framing)
  • Drywall repair and painting
  • Basic plumbing (toilet installs, faucet replacement, leak fixes)
  • Basic electrical (switch/outlet replacement, light fixture installs)
  • Tile, flooring, and other general repairs
• Arrive on time, in uniform, carry tools, materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Help prepare work areas and clean up after jobs are completed
• Follow instructions and work safely at all times
• Provide great customer service on-site, representing the company in a professional manner
• Support other Technicians as needed
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and time spent on jobs

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Passionate about delivering great customer experiences
• Some hands-on home repair experience with basic tools
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new techniques
• Punctual, dependable, and ready to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
