You will assist your dedicated team in executing the brand or functional strategy as well as participate in initiatives or projects to support the development or understanding of sales, culture, analytics, & service.
Engineering Intern
YOUR MISSION
During your 10-week internship, you will have the chance to work in one of the following areas:
- Industrial & Systems Engineering
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lean management.
- Design practical solutions to improve operational lead-time processes.
- Help to lead efforts to implement and deploy AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) workflows.
- Conduct time studies and lead efforts to analyze productivity.
- Data Engineering
- Demonstrate data analysis skills by quality-checking and addressing outliers.
- Collaborate on designing insightful and interactive reports for Operational Logistics teams.
- Mechanical Engineering
- Utilize CAD to design and develop tools to increase productivity.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement & lean efforts utilizing industrial engineering principles:
- Conduct time and motion studies and lead efforts to obtain various metrics
- Support facility re-engineering projects
- Participate in lean initiatives
- Help to lead efforts to implement and deploy new technologies such as AMRs
- Assist operations in change management efforts
- Improve work methods and simplification in performing warehouse tasks
- Create SOPs for various processes in the facility
- Work with EH&S manager on safety initiatives
- Assist coordination & timeliness of projects with project teams
YOUR PROFILE
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Data interpretation, modeling, and visualization skills preferred (Excel Dashboard, Power BI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An innovative problem-solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- At your core, a team player who is excited to shine, as well as empower and assist others to achieve success.
- Energetic and eager to assist on projects and initiatives.
- Able to work a full-time schedule throughout the course of our Summer Internship Program.
- Authorized to work in the United States; International students must have a current work visa, Richemont North America will not sponsor work visas for summer internships.
- Must be age 18 or older.
