Director of Human Resources
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Director of Human Resources. In this position, you will be responsible for enforcing and administering company policies and ensuring company practices are compliant with all laws and regulations affecting human resources activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR strategy aligned with company goals and culture.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
- Foster an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing workplace.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and performance systems.
- Drive employee training, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Resolve employee relations issues and support conflict resolution.
- Optimize HR operations, systems, and data reporting.
- Promote workplace safety, wellness, and team member satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- At least three years’ experience as an HR Director or at least five years as an HR manager, preferably with a large resort/hotel and convention center.
- Ability to maintain your own office to include typing, filing, computer, telephone, and fax.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, ADP, and HRIS systems.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Administration duties
- Experience with the administration and management of unemployment claims.
- Experience with OSHA accident/injury reporting and yearly reporting.
