Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Leadership Development Consultant Lead to join the Leadership Development team at our Fairbanks location in Indianapolis on a Hybrid schedule. This role will require some travel throughout the state of Indiana. 

The Leadership Development Consultant Lead will partner closely with the Director, Leadership Development to create, execute and evaluate a comprehensive leadership development strategy that is aligned with IU Health's strategic goals and aims to promote a high-performing organizational culture. You will design, deliver, and oversee leadership development programs to attract and grow a diverse leadership pipeline and prepare our future leaders. Manage all operational elements of leadership programs, such as project management, resource allocation, communication, vendor management, budgeting and logistics. Collaborate closely with leadership and HR teams to identify leadership development needs across the organization and recommend solutions. Partner with other learning and development team members to ensure effective design and delivery for leadership development initiatives. Establish assessment strategies that measure program effectiveness and impact and continuously improve the programs. Provide coaching and mentoring to leaders, guiding their growth and development. Serve as liaison for Learning & Development for a Region or HR Center of Excellence. Represent the Leadership Development Team in cross-functional collaborations and organizational initiatives.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.  
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Organizational Development, business, or other learning discipline.
  • Professional learning, coaching, facilitation or assessment certifications are preferred.
  • Experience designing and managing leadership development programs in large, complex, matrix organizations, that deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of leadership principles, competency models, adult learning theories, learning modalities, and experiential programming.
  • Skilled facilitator for both in person and virtual delivery.
  • Experience cultivating partnerships with external vendors, consultants, and academic institutions to enhance leadership development offerings.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Requires high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated expertise with reporting and presentation tools.
