The Director of FP&A will be a key strategic partner to the executive team, primarily responsible for driving financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis for our DTC business (online and retail stores). This role will provide actionable insights to improve profitability, optimize store and online performance, and support strategic initiatives, including expansion of omnichannel capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Lead the annual budget, monthly re-forecasts, and long-range planning for DTC channels (eCommerce and stores).
Partner with planning, merchandising, marketing, eComm and retail operations to align forecasts with key business drivers including traffic, conversion, AOV, and promotional cadence.
Develop robust sales, margin, and expense models for both online and retail store operations.
Reporting & Analysis
Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly DTC performance reporting, providing insight into KPIs such as sales, traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR, markdowns, and gross margin.
Identify and communicate key trends, risks, and opportunities across the DTC business, including store productivity and online acquisition efficiency.
Deliver actionable insights to improve profitability, enhance channel performance, and support omnichannel strategies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual presentation / SEC reporting materials, as required.
Strategic Business Partnering
Collaborate with Marketing to analyze ROI on digital marketing spend, direct mail, paid media efficiency, and promotional strategies.
Partner with Retail Operations to evaluate store openings/closures, capital investments, and staffing models.
Support executive decision-making with scenario modeling and ad hoc analysis to drive growth and profitability.
Process & Systems Improvement
Enhance financial planning tools, dashboards, and reporting to improve speed, accuracy, and actionable insights.
Lead initiatives to integrate data across POS, ERP, and eCommerce analytics to support cross-channel reporting.
Implement best practices in financial planning, inventory and margin analysis, and KPI tracking for a rapidly scaling DTC business.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with a focus on retail, apparel, multi-unit restaurant, or consumer brands.
Strong understanding of DTC business models, including eCommerce metrics and brick-and-mortar store operations.
Advanced financial modeling skills and expert proficiency with Excel; experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
