Accounting Manager (4 days on-site, Remote Fridays)

Description

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, with a significant focus on accounts payable processes.
• Administer NetSuite to manage financial data, streamline processes, and generate accurate reports.
• Lead and mentor a team of remote employees, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across different locations.
• Review vendor invoicing for payment approval.
• Prepare and/or review accounting journals and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and improve financial performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing remote teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Proficiency in NetSuite accounting system.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
