Real Estate Loan Servicing Representative II

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

What You’ll Be DoingResponsible for providing direct assistance to Members, teammembers and third parties regarding complex inquiries, research, and solutions pertaining to Member real estate loans post funding. Ensures timely completion of such requests and transactions while complying with established internal standards and external regulations.
  • Research and escalate complaints for Members regarding servicing standards.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls utilizing a dialer system and adhere to all requirements for Member interaction using the dialer.
  • Adhere to all call metrics, rules and responsibilities on the dialer.
  • Provide excellent Member Service, including but not limited to all inquiries regarding first lien mortgage loans serviced by a sub servicer and HELOCs/Fixed Equity loans serviced in house.
  • Responsible for deceased Member and Successor in Interest loan processing.
  • Responsible for file maintenance on all teammember real estate loans.
  • Responsible for processing subordination requests, including underwriting, submitting recommendations for approval or denial, processing documentation, communicating and negotiating with third party lenders, and providing updates to Members.
  • Assist Members with the processing and handling of insurance loss draft claims.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reviewing flood insurance reports to ensure adequate flood insurance coverage and processing force placed coverage when needed.
  • Responsible for reviewing delinquent property tax reports and working with Members to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor, balance and process daily reconciliation of sub-servicer’s loan account postings; prepare daily wire requests to sub-servicer.
  • Process equity loan payoffs and ensure HELOC loans are closed out according to established procedures.
  • Coordinate and monitor payoffs on first mortgage loan with sub-servicer.
  • Responds to Member, third party, and teammember inquiries concerning loan servicing, payoffs, and other loan information details.
  • Ensures payments are properly credited or applied to Member real estate loans.
  • Maintains working knowledge and understanding of loan servicing guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for processing Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) loans.
  • Reviews and prepares reports on a monthly or ad hoc basis as required by management.
  • Assists with testing, validation and training of process changes.
  • Assists with department projects upon request.
  • Processes necessary IRS forms and other tax statements and reports.

  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years of previous related experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous Symitar and/or loan servicing system experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with active listening
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
