OBXtek has an immediate need for a number of highly qualified Senior Administration Support Specialists at multiple levels of seniority to support our new U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDA&CP) and Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Support Services contract (Hemisphere) in the Colorado Springs, CO and El Segundo, CA areas.
Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only.
Responsibilities
The Administration Support Specialists will assist in leading System Acquisition and Systems Engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis. They work with program and project managers to support the design, development, and instantiation of space systems and advanced system capabilities. The successful candidates we seek for this important opportunity will help enable advanced capabilities and proactive protective understanding of how our family of space-based assets and programs operate, interact, and serve our highest priority national defense. Objectives include:
- Administrative Assistants that are:
- Highly knowledgeable in performing support services with an emphasis on ability to effectively communicate with Senior Government, Military, and industry leaders and their supporting staffs
- Knowledgeable in ways to help improved efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of support SSC four-letter organizations
- Knowledgeable in managing administation of performance reports, awards, and appraisals
- Knowledgeable in managing taskers assigned to branch, meeting minutes, meeting inputs for higher-level echelons, and tracking action items at the branch-level and above for leadership
- Knowledgeable in managing assigned administrative projects such as, but not limited to, facility neds, manpower needs, branch slides (mission, organization)
- Business Analysts that are:
- Highly knowledgeable and certified in U.S. Air Force records management and in the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Able to process, receive, track, coordinate, and store large volumes of program critical information
- Highly knowledgeable in leading projects facilitating human resources, training, administrative actions, critical staffing actions, and collaborating across multiple disciplines to deliver products
- Able to coordinate and organize geographically-separated team members
- Executive Assistants that are:
- Experienced in performing military and/or civilian executive-level support services, protocol, information management, and administrative support activities; including specifically the areas of: Executive Staff Support Functions, Military Protocol Information Management/Operations Support, and demonstrated ability to interface with Senior Leadership within the government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit/non-profit government support/development contractor arena, of which four years shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of Department of Defense programs
- Experienced in working infrastructure projects for the DoD, knowledge of MILCON policies and procedures.
- Experiencef in managing resources tied to infrastructure projects, knowledge of requirments and procedures for both classified and unclassified facilities.
- Experienced in analyzing and evaluating current events and providing recommendations to executive leadership
- Highly experienced performing military and/or civilian executive-level support services, protocol, information management, and administrative support activities, specifically in the areas of:
- Executive Staff Support functions
- Military Protocol Information Management/Operations Support functions
- Federally-Funded Research and Development Centers
- Profit/Non-profit Government support/development contractor arenas
- Experienced in classified systems data handling and operational level support
- Able to interface with Senior Leadership within the Government (military and/or civil servant)
- Facility Managers that are:
- Highly experienced in performing acquisition management activities related to facility operation and accreditation of SCIF/SAPF facilities
- Highly experienced reviewing plans and layouts for compliance with policies, protocols, practices, regulations, and statutes
