How you will make a difference

The XTIVIA Senior Accountant role is an intermediate accounting level position for a degreed accountant to grow in their career while working to support finance functions. This position reports directly to the XTIVIA Controller. The individual will be responsible for full financial reporting to assigned business units as well as key accounting processes, as assigned. 

Responsibilities  

• Review contract terms from new business and apply GAAP accounting standards to ensure proper revenue recognition 
• Approval of invoice data from our time-tracking solution prior to hand-off to billing
• Supervise and review the preparation of monthly commission schedules
• Record and document certain expense accruals as assigned
• Key member of the monthly close process
• Maintain detailed accounting schedules and reconciliations
• Manage expense programs such as credit card programs
• Preparation and review of financial statements from various business units
• Support data requests from auditors, tax accountants, others as requested
• Address compliance matters such as tax notices, ensure all filings are completed 
• Continually execute on projects to drive process improvement and efficiency
• Track schedules on key metrics, suggest improvements
• Presentation of financial information to business leaders
• Communicate information with our parent company where needed
• Assist with other ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

What you bring to your new team 

• Accounting or Finance degree
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to handle a large volume of activity/transactions
• Strong attention to detail, must maintain sense of due dates on deliverables
