The ideal candidate is a systems engineer with a passion for solving complex manufacturing challenges -- someone who thrives on digging into difficult problems across hardware, software, and data to find root cause and drive lasting fixes.</p> <p>In this role, you will lead troubleshooting of our complex end-of-line systems and develop robust test and bring-up processes that make our production line more efficient, self-sustaining, and capable of delivering the highest quality products. You will be a key driver in building the kind of systematic, repeatable testing infrastructure that lets our production team move fast with confidence -- ensuring every product that leaves the building meets Carbon's exacting standards.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical and optical systems, using data analysis and MES tools to identify, validate, and resolve issues at their source.</li> <li>Serve as a key technical resource for the production floor -- rapidly unblocking manufacturing personnel when issues arise, driving corrective actions through to full resolution so the line stays moving and problems don't recur.&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with production and cross-functional teams (Design, Systems, Quality, Supply Chain) to implement corrective actions and drive lasting process improvements.</li> <li>Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track, trend, and communicate manufacturing KPIs -- turning data into actionable insights for the production line.</li> <li>Lead Product Validation Testing (PVT) for new products, building bring-up and end-of-line test processes that are robust, repeatable, and scalable.</li> <li>Translate technical findings into updated work instructions and process documentation, ensuring fixes are captured and sustained on the production floor.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>B.S./M.S. in Electri
