About the role

This role provides the opportunity to set key strategic initiatives and growth priorities within the Commercial Bank.

As an Executive Director within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) for the Commercial Banking (CB) Healthcare Services organization, you will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer for Innovation Economy & Healthcare Services, in addition to working closely with the Industry Manager for Health Care Services and their leadership team. The Chief Administrative Officer for Commercial Banking Healthcare Services is responsible for collaborating with the Healthcare Services Banking business to set and implement key strategic initiatives and growth priorities within the Commercial Bank. The Healthcare Services Banking business focuses on delivering best-in-class treasury, payment, liquidity and lending solutions to the full spectrum of healthcare delivery and health tech platforms in the [$20mm – 2bn] revenue segment. In addition to working closely with the Morgan Health team in building out their mission to improve the healthcare experience for employees, they partner closely with other lines of business spanning Investment Banking, Private Banking, Financial Sponsors Coverage, Venture Capital Coverage, Asset Management and others, to deliver a broad array of healthcare-dedicated resources.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery of Healthcare Services business growth plan (overseeing a portfolio of existing initiatives, while also assessing new initiatives for the business) through partnership with key business, front office and functional partners across Digital, Data and Product, Middle Office, CB Solutions, Finance and Business Management, Marketing, Business Operations, Legal and Risk
  • Drive portfolio of strategic initiatives including major firm wide partnership, several cross LOB growth priorities, data strategy, emerging middle market strategy, and several pilot initiatives
  • Establish disciplined program management structure for each initiative and overall HCS strategic plan, including scorecards, regular executive / senior management updates, and detailed timelines and delivery roadmap
  • Provide strategic support for ad-hoc deliverables including town halls, off site meetings, management meetings, etc. 
  • Hold regular check-ins with partners regarding progress; problem solve when challenges arise, ensuring appropriate accountability and positive momentum
  • Monitor Healthcare Services landscape and client ecosystem to identify competitive strengths and gaps
  • Partner with product teams, acting as senior business representative on product development teams to inform and execute product builds and deliver intended results

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of program/portfolio management, business management and/or strategy experience
  • Extensive experience managing large scale and complex delivery across multiple work streams with varying timelines / priorities
  • Familiarity with end-to-end bank infrastructure, including advisors, client service, product, technology, operations and controls
  • Structured thinking ability and effective communication skills, including excellent written communication; ability to and experience with delivering complex messages to senior audiences
  • Expertise in PowerPoint (PitchPro+), Excel, Word, Teams 
  • Financial services background

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • MBA or an advanced business degree from a top-tier program 
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, SQL or other analytics tools
  • Commercial Banking experience
