Job Description:
Hang or changeover lighting for opera production. Focus lights for opera production. Lead the hang, install, and focus of all production lighting; circuit light plot, pull color, pull goboes, assign DMX addresses, lead focus, attend initial cueing with designer, create paperwork, and create preshow checklist for operator. Run the light board during technical rehearsals and performances. Troubleshoot problems as they arrive during tech process.
- Perform facility duties and responsibilities for assigned area of responsibility
- Assist with maintenance and cleaning as needed
- Participate with various projects, activities and tasks related to facility services
- Adhere to and ensure safety procedures and precautions are followed
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
