Summary of Job Duties:

The Senior Contract Analyst reports to the Contracts Manager and is responsible for the effective maintenance of contract data files and the integrity of contract pricing. The role includes coordinating and preforming analyses of product usage and pricing to optimize Group Purchasing Organization (“GPO”), GPO Enhanced, State, and Local Contracts with an emphasis on identifying cost-saving and expense reduction. The individual in this position will ensure the adherence to best practices in contract management, analysis, and reporting, ensuring all contracts and databases remain accurate and current. Responsible for verifying contract compliance with Arkansas State Procurement Law, DFA Policies, relevant Board of Trustees and U of A Systemwide Policies, and Procedures and UAMS Administrative Guide Policies and Procedures, as applicable.
