Senior Channel Sales Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data-driven Senior Channel Sales Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to leverage data and analytics to optimize our channel sales forecasting processes. You will be responsible for providing strategic insights, making data-backed recommendations, and streamlining processes related to the bookings and billings forecast. The Channel Sales Operations Manager should be proactive, data-savvy, and possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to drive results in a dynamic sales environment, especially when working alongside various partners in the channel ecosystem. This critical role will play a key part in enhancing our channel sales forecasting efficiency and overall performance.

Sr. Director, Sales Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze historical sales, distributor inventory, and sell-through data to discern patterns, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
- Develop data models and algorithms to support accurate billings forecasts and provide stocking order recommendations.
- Manage large datasets from internal systems and external channel partners and perform regular data quality and data integrity audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accurate and actionable billings forecasts.
- Oversee channel order shipments and returns, price adjustments and make data-informed recommendations to refine existing processes ensuring efficiency.
- Streamline channel sales processes by identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
- Recommend adjustments to sales strategies based on data-driven insights to maximize sell-through rates.
- Collaborate with channel partners on requirements for data collection.
- Maintain open channels of communication with key stakeholders, including resellers, distributors, and strategic partners, ensuring alignment, and understanding across the board.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive weekly and quarterly reports and dashboards that provide a comprehensive view of channel sales performance, including pipeline management, billings, sell-through, linearity reporting and other vital KPI reporting.
- Articulate insights and actionable recommendations to senior management, ensuring clarity and fostering data-driven decision-making.
- Work in collaboration with resellers, distributors, and strategic partners to ensure systems and processes are aligned for scalability.
- Foster strong relationships with these partners to drive mutual growth and streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in channel sales operations, forecasting and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization tools).
- Ability to manage through ambiguity and develop solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
