Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Manufacturing Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role is a driving position, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit from the premises.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address any security-related concerns or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
