Radiation Therapist Registered

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

1)    Graduate of an approved school of Radiation Therapy.

Experience:

1)    No previous work experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

1)    Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.    
2)    Ability to work well with patients, family members, physicians, visitors, coworkers, and others.
3)    Ability to work positively and with a caring attitude towards patients and their families who are often under physical and/or emotional stress.
4)    Intermediate computer operational/software skills.  

License/Certification/Registration:

1)    Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
2)    Current registration as a Radiation Therapist(RTT) with the ARRT(T)

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Receives general supervision from the Administrative Director of Radiation Oncology.
