About the role

This position works closely with assigned leadership regarding strategic planning, program development, continuous quality improvement and financial/budget reporting and monitoring. Responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating staff and activities to ensure optimum service. Responsible for workflow, performance, regulatory compliance, and the overall management of assigned area operations to achieve exceptional care, superb service, and maximal productivity. Responsible for meeting financial and quality benchmarks and operational oversight of the assigned area(s).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) of the following required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business related field. 
    • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.   
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ leadership experience required.  Experience in related healthcare leadership preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ of progressive work experience in a relevant healthcare setting required.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding related to research, preparation, interpretation and presentation of comprehensive reports required.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of the health care environment, healthcare reform and care delivery systems required.
  • Possess knowledge of government and reimbursement regulations and requirements and HIPAA guidelines as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Drive organizational objectives by operationalizing changes and initiatives effectively and efficiently. Collect and analyze data, prepare and present recommendations, and explain associated benefits and risks for improving operations.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Manages and ensures the day-to-day operating needs of the assigned area(s).
  • Ensures optimum patient care services from initial contact to close of services. Works with leadership to respond to patient concerns, fosters an environment of immediate service recovery and transparency for questions and issues.
