In Corporate Procurement we are looking for a strong and dynamic profile to take up a new position as Strategic Purchaser. The position will be located in one of our biggest manufacturing sites in Tatabanya, Hungary.
The candidate will be working closely with the team in our manufacturing sites in Tatabánya and Nyírbátor but also with the global Procurement Team in Coloplast in EU, Asia, US and Costa Rica.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing cost saving activities in close cooperation with the Category Manager, the internal organization and the suppliers, as well as related global functions.
Tasks:
- Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management and sourcing activities for direct and/or indirect materials and services.
- Work closely together with the local site as well as with the global team at each Coloplast site to optimize the spend related to direct and/or indirect materials, services and CAPEX
- Run local/regional/global projects in various material categories
- Facilitate and lead supplier negotiations with support of Category Manager
- Challenge our existing supplier portfolio by finding and qualifying new suppliers in the region
Expectation:
- College / University degree
- 3-5 years of business experience, preferably within purchasing / procurement
- Skilled negotiator with a commercial understanding and ability to see sourcing opportunities regionally as well as globally
- Strong commercial skills are an advantage
- Relevant commercial or/and technical education and background
- The ability to ensure a collaborative environment with key stakeholders
- Capable of working cross-functionally and cross-geographically with people on all levels in the organization
- Target oriented, self-starter, proactive, precise, willing to travel
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Hungarian
