The Senior Manager, IT Supply Chain and Customer Focus will play a pivotal role in driving technology driven solutions across our organization. The role is responsible for forging strong connections between our IT capabilities and the diverse needs of our business units within Armstrong. This position will manage and inspire a dedicated team of IT professionals as well as serve as a dynamic relationship manager. The role will oversee the development, deployment, and adoption of ERP ensuring it aligns with our strategic business objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Directly responsible for 1-4 team leads with responsibility for specific functional areas.
  • Direct and Indirect responsibility for additional 5-20 individual contributors.
  • Acquire and maintain business processes and IT knowledge necessary to anticipate and deliver IT solutions for emerging business opportunities across the organization.
  • Identify and cultivate technology investments that align with strategic business goals.
  • Anticipate and adapt IT solutions to evolving business strategies and demand patterns.
  • Manage a portfolio if IT initiatives, including the prioritization and resourcing, while properly assessing business risk and benefits. 
  • Develop and execute an annual IT operating plan, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategic priorities. Formulate an annual operating plan that includes maintenance, development, enhancements, and forward-thinking technology.
  • Ensure transparent communication of IT program and project status to stakeholders across all areas of the business.
  • Establish and monitor process metrics and key performance indicators to maximize IT portfolio returns and enhance service delivery.
  • Manage IT budgeting, cost tracking and allocation to align with strategic goals and enhance cost transparency. Benchmark IT services to ensure competitiveness with best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to maximize the utilization of IT solutions through effective communication, training, and support.
  • Direct and mentor IT teams to effectively manage project scope and issue resolution ensuring successful service and project delivery. Provide guidance, input, and management of $5-$25 million of direct and indirect budget spending.
