Project Coordinator-Senior

Under limited supervision, responsible for overseeing the completion of the project life-cycle, including preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements. Oversees project activities to include training, data management and statistical analysis and budget preparation. May lead or mentor lower level team members.

• Manages and monitors expenditures and prepares financial reports. 
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding and procedures for accomplishing project. 
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, and coordinates activities of project personnel. 
• Serves as the project liaison and principal project coordinator between the various departments and stakeholders. 
• Reports to management on the development of the project. 
• Follows and supports established guidelines and ensures projects are administered according to protocol. 
• Complies with and helps enforce project specific policies and procedures. 
• May oversee staff by establishing objectives, providing direction, training and ongoing performance feedback. 
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge in project management methodologies, from conception to delivery. 
• Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management. 
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 
• Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.). 
• Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols. 
• Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree degree in related field is required.  Will accept experience in lieu of degree.
