KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the development of the GRD from the Global OPR GRD specification contributor,
- GRD OFCI specification contributor,
- Support teams in navigating GRD Change Management using the defined process,
- Provide input and review GRD Change Management Lead direction on GRD Cx and Quality Requirements,
- Act as a focal point for lessons learned to include in GRD development and to cascade to Regional Design Management teams,
- Support Regional teams with understanding of Global Client Requirements (SoQ and CDE responses),
- Carries out Design reviews of regional projects for compliance with Global OPR and GRD and recommends changes and future development,
- Carries out Design Reviews of requested deviations to and derogations from Global OPR and GRD and makes recommendations as required,
- Participates and contributes to monthly discipline meetings / lessons learned/ sharing across all regions
- Liaises with Design Management leads and other technical SME’s as required,
- Supports design managers and AE firms with regional understanding of OPR and GRD,
- Collaborate with Design Management team to ensure design deliverables meet company strategic goals. Conduct QA/QC of design and documentation, including but not limited to construction drawings and commissioning test scripts as required to support regional teams,
- Collaborate with A/E’s to ensure design concepts and product selection align with GRD strategic goals for developing and operating cost effective, highly efficient, and reliable Data Centers.
- Supports in providing Supplier Management feedback
- Collaborate w. NTT organizations such as TechOps and CFOPs to resolve issues during Cx L3, L4s or post construction handover.
- Prepare training presentations for organizations such as sales engineers and supply chain.
- Support site masterplanning to ensure understanding of OPR and GRD and reflection in test fits,
- Contribute to and provide feedback on GRD and OPR as required,
- Support continuous development of tools, process and procedures for best practice design management.
- Support long term relationships with key third party design vendors.
- Review quality and value for money received through A/E appointments
- Contribute to driving innovation and standardisation in design to improve reliability, constructability, repeatability to reduce time and cost of the localisation and delivery of the GRD,
- Contribute to the overall NTT GDC culture as well as the Design team culture of collaboration and support as one GDC.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
- University degree in Engineering ( preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Building Engineering or related discipline)
- Membership of a professional institution recognised as relevant to the data centre sector
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 10 years experience in data centres and or other mission critical M&E led industries,
- Experience of working in multi disciplinary design teams preferably in a leading role,
- Experience in design consultant / client Engineer / site engineer / contractor engineer roles,
- International experience and outlook both in type of company and project experience,
- Ideally has experience with hyperscale customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs.
- Use of sight, hearing and voice are required as well as motor skills.
- Able to hear and speak with others and to use a telephone and 2-way radio.
