We are looking for an experienced person to take up senior position within the GREW organization and leadership team with specific responsibility for the management of operational services and ownership of all non-industrial sites and non-industrial assets on identified mixed-use sites within the region of Europe (part of). 

 

The role holder will be fully accountable for the provision of Facility Management & Workplace Services including Project Management & Real Estate support for all non-industrial sites across the region, this includes direct management of all related GREW staff, operating budgets and external supplier relationships across multiple countries and locations within the region

 

As a senior leadership position within the GREW organization having responsibility for one of four operating regions this is a strategic business role providing operational leadership as well as being the primary business interface and Business Partner representing GREW across all BU’s. 

 

The successful candidate will need to bring a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of our regional and global business together with a strong focus on providing services within a complex multi-BU environment, balancing competing priorities and focus on cost efficiency and fitness for purpose, able to drive suppliers and challenge BUs to ensure demand and supply are always aligned
 
Your key responsibilities:

• Ownership of all non-industrial sites and facilities across the region including responsibility for operational management, maintenance, development, and strategic planning to ensure the facilities and workplace environments are fit for purpose and continue to meet the current and future needs of regional BUs over a 3-to-5-year period
• Key relationship manager responsible for managing the demand for services and facilities from regional BUs to ensure we work within the agreed operating budgets, and we maximize the efficient use of our facilities and workplaces 
• Responsible for the delivery of operating services supporting all non-industrial sites within the region and contract owner for all external partnerships and supply agreements
• Direct owner of all operating budgets within the region supporting facilities/workplace services, real estate & property costs, and the delivery of small to medium sized investment projects across the region
• Leader of GREW resources operating within the region and member of the GREW leadership team

You bring:

• Experience having held positions of significant responsibility in the operational management of sites and services in a complex environment
• A performance driven individual with a strong commercial outlook, familiar working in a service or facility management environment working with a wide range of internal & external service providers and technical experts
• International leadership in a relevant area of business with keen sense of self-awareness & purpose, a passion for making a difference and an active curiosity in all aspects of operational service delivery and workplace innovation.
• Strong communication skills and leadership, able to create a shared vision for success fostering collaborations across geographies, business units and multiple operating teams within GREW 
• You will need to use your strong business insights, be structured in your approach and creative in your thinking. You must be comfortable in a matrixed environment and able to create clarity out of ambiguity, build trust with colleagues and stakeholders alike. 
• At least 15+ years of experience in similar positions in multinational companies or in large FM firms viz. JLL / CBRE etc.
