Finance Internship – Summer 2026 (Arlington, VA)

OVERVIEW   

As an intern in the Finance Department, you will play a role in managing and understanding broader finance operations, while rotating through departments in Investor Relations, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Treasury. The 10-week internship is designed to expose students to principles of accounting, investor relations, treasury, and financial planning and analysis, while building confidence in finance operational skills. We are looking for individuals who will thrive in a dynamic environment where they can apply and learn basic accounting principles and analytical and modelling skills.  This position will work both independently and in collaboration with the CoStar Group FP&A, Investor Relations, and Treasury departments. A successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and technical skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams. 

As part of the Finance Summer Internship Program, you will:   

• Be exposed to coordination of investor relations events and activities, including key metrics 

• Assist in maintaining our investor relations presentations 

• Assist in reviewing sell side analyst models 

• Support the quarterly earnings process 

• Support FP&A functions around monthly / quarterly budgeting process 

• Support Treasury functions 

  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS   

• Current college junior with expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027, studying Accounting, Finance, or related field 

• Detail-oriented 

• Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles   

• Strong Excel skills and the ability to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly
